It has been about 15 years since I last tackled my websites. Much has changed and yet little has changed .
Welcome to my attempt to explore the notion that statistics is involved in all of our activities, everyday, all the time. I believe that statistical thinking underscores all our efforts and all our decisions. And is the true foundation of mathematical literacy. I have been am a teacher of statistics, extremely active in the development of standards to support statistical efforts, and have been attempting to develop text materials to help others learn some of the fundamental concepts of very applied statistical reasoning through doing actual measurements. This is a way of exploring the interrelationships of the many activities I am involved in. I hope others will appreciate some of the things I will try to develop here. |
